Having these items on hand helps your prescriber make the most of your consultation time together.

Government-Issued Photo ID

Your current Australian driver licence, passport, or Medicare card. This is required by law to verify your identity before a prescription can be issued.

Your Health Summary

A brief overview of current medications, known allergies, and any existing conditions. If you have recent blood work or specialist reports, have those handy too.

A Private Space and Device

Choose a quiet, private area with stable internet. Any device with a camera and microphone works - your phone, tablet, or computer are all suitable.

How long is the initial consultation, and what does it cover?

Most initial consultations run for 15 to 30 minutes. Your prescriber will review your health history, discuss your goals, and assess whether a particular treatment is clinically appropriate for you. There is no rush - every question you have will be addressed before any decisions are made.

What happens if my prescriber decides a treatment is not right for me?

Your safety always comes first. If a treatment is not clinically suitable, your prescriber will explain the reasoning clearly and discuss alternative approaches. Where appropriate, they can also provide a referral to another healthcare provider so you still have a path forward.

How long after approval will my medication arrive?

Prescriptions are processed as soon as your consultation is finalised. Most patients receive their medication within three to five business days, depending on location and the specific treatment. You will receive tracking updates so you know exactly when to expect delivery.

How does follow-up care work, and how often will I see my prescriber?

Your prescriber will schedule a follow-up within the first few weeks of starting treatment to check your progress and address any concerns. After that, regular reviews are arranged at intervals tailored to your treatment plan - typically every four to twelve weeks. Our support team is also available between appointments if anything comes up.

What if I have questions or side effects between scheduled appointments?

You are never left without support. Our care team is available by phone and email during business hours, and we aim to respond to all enquiries within the same business day. If you experience unexpected side effects, reach out straight away and we will arrange a review with your prescriber promptly.
